In 2018 IPL he took the team Kolkata Knight Riders to the playoffs after that he did’nt showed any good performance in the last three seasons of the Indian Premier League. But we have to say that he has been showing his amazing and stunning performance for the team Royal Challengers Banglore in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League 2022.

He is back with his energy in the T20 series of India vs South Africa which will start from 9th june and will end on 19th june. Some matches will be played in delhi and the remaining matches will be played in Cuttack, Rajkot, Visakhapatnam etc.

36-year-old right-handed batter Dinesh Kartik make his return to the Indian Team after three long years and got selected in the 18-member team of the T20 Squad of India against South Africa. He scored 287 runs in 14 matches with a strike rate of 191 for the team Royal Challengers Banglore. This score rate of Dinesh Karthik has forced the selectors to welcome him into the squad for the T20 series of India vs South Africa. He is the third-highest run-getter for Bengaluru with twenty-two-four and twenty-one-sixes in this season of Tata IPL 2022. In his 18-year-old journey in international cricket, He has featured 26 tests, 94 ODI’s, and 32 T20 matches. He will probably be playing in the playing 11′ s for all the five matches of the T20 series against South Africa.

When Dinesh Karthik was giving interview with Virat Kohli he said that He wants to return back in team India and wants to win a T20 world cup for India. Now as he returns to team India He might be hoping to get the World Cup for India.
